COWARDICE VS. COURAGE

All may have a desire to be successful, few have the courage and determination to grapple with all the difficulties that accost them on their way to victory.


The stage on which this war is fought is every man's soul. There are no neutrals in this war. The whole world is engaged in this battle, either for God against Satan, or for Satan against God.

Alistair Begg has been in pastoral ministry since 1975. Following graduation from The London School of Theology, he served eight years in Scotland at both Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church.

In 1983 Alistair became the senior pastor of Parkside Church outside Cleveland, Ohio.  He has written 18 books, served as editor of The CSB Spurgeon Study Bible featuring thousands of excerpts from the Prince of Preachers Charles Spurgeon's sermons, is heard daily on Truth For Life radio program.  Alistair and his wife Susan were married in 1975 and have three grown children.

May God bless you and keep you in the days ahead, that you finish your race well for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Therefore, as an Ambassador of our King you have nothing to fear but fear itself.  In Jesus name— be strong, steadfast, immovable! Finish well.

It has always been part of a great athlete's life, when sorely bruised—at the end—to still prevail. Much like the Puritans we must be prepared to choose Suffering over Sinning until He returns. When He does, we're all going home. Therefore, Always Be Ready!
